San3a Tech and Chevron Celebrate the Closing of the 1st Cycle of Girls Make

On September 24, San3a Tech and Chevron in collaboration with the Ministry of Petroleum of the program's community partners celebrated the closing of 1st cycle of Girls Make. 47 Girls have graduated from the program and exhibited their final group projects for the audience.


The graduation took place at Sultan Hussein Kamel Palace, thanks to TIEC. And the event was attended by Chevron's Country Manager Upstream, Chevron's Country Manager Downstream, Under Secretary of the Ministry of Petroleum, TIEC's Innovation Manager, and a long list of high-profile guests of Chevron's and San3a Tech's partners. All of them were gathered to celebrate the success of the graduating girls and their families.


Girls Make is a summer innovation program funded by Chevron - The Human Energy Company - and run by San3a Tech through its educational arm San3a Academy to empower girls to pursue their interest in STEM subjects, providing them with the skills needed to make their ideas come true using Maker Education methodologies and Digital Fabrication techniques. The program included 48 girls from 4 different governorates (Cairo, Alexandria, Zagazig, Asyut).
