STEM for Social Good
About the Program
San3a Tech and Girl Up MENA have partnered to launch the "Femme Innovate: STEM for Social Good" initiative, aiming to promote gender equity and empower girls and women in Egypt through enhanced STEM education and leadership development. Supported by the CFLI grant, the project focuses on reaching 200 young women, especially those in underserved areas, to build their technical knowledge in STEM and interpersonal skills. Through hands-on bootcamps, the creation of 15 Girl Up clubs, and the Girl Up Leadership Summit, the initiative will provide a supportive environment for participants to develop leadership abilities and technical expertise. Additionally, 50 girls will attend intensive bootcamps, with innovative prototypes being developed to address social challenges. Femme Innovate aims to equip girls with the tools needed for future academic and career success in fields where female representation is currently low.
