Sohaila Mohsen
I'm a visual arts teacher who instructs high school students following the American Diploma Program. I have a deep passion for art and am dedicated to developing my students' skills, both in theory and practice. I focus particularly on sculpture, printmaking, and painting. I also run a personal project called 'Puzmarq' where I design and sell high-quality wooden products targeting middle to upper-class customers. Besides teaching and art, I'm keen on developing my entrepreneurial skills by taking online courses. I always strive to be prepared for new activities that can enrich my students' experiences.
My Journey
I have loved the idea of paper crafting since I was a child. I used to create furniture models using chipboard boxes and coloring them. As I grew older and studied at the Faculty of Art Education, I learned various artistic techniques such as sculpture, printing, weaving, drawing, and woodworking. I started teaching children and adults different art techniques, and my favorite art form to teach is marquetry, which is the craft of inlaying wood veneers.
At Puzmarq, we create exceptional marquetry art pieces that embody creativity and high craftsmanship, with a commitment to quality and innovation. Our goal is to inspire our customers with handcrafted art that reflects their unique taste while providing an enjoyable and reliable shopping experience.
We offer product ideas that make perfect gifts for general occasions like holidays and personal milestones. Our handmade wooden products include items such as wood veneer portraits, jewelry boxes, office organizers, makeup organizers, keychains, accessories, and photo frames.
Additionally, we host workshops to teach the basics of marquetry art.
